Tim Allen Confirms Keanu Reeves' Role In Toy Story 4

It's a spoiler that could rock the entire Star Command. Tim Allen has just confirmed that Keanu Reeves has an important role in Toy Story 4 and his character might be the next Buzz Lightyear.

Allen was recently a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where he spoke about the highly anticipated Disney sequel. The Santa Klause actor revealed that the John Wick: Chapter 2 star will be a part of the film and even shared some interesting details about Reeves' character.

"Keanu Reeves has got a great part in it. Inside story, even the fun, gentle guy that he is, even he said, 'This sounds too much like Buzz Lightyear.' And his character does have an edge to that."

In addition to that, Allen revealed that they had to calm Reeves down so he could accept his character, which is reportedly the size of a toy soldier. Luckily, Allen didn't reveal everything about the new toy that will somehow sound a lot like John Wick.

So who is Reeves playing in Toy Story 4? We can rest assured that it isn't the new character Forky. The spork-turned-toy will be voiced by Arrested Development comedian Tony Hale. The character is expected to have an existential crisis after being turned into a toy by Bonnie.

The sequel will be bringing back Allen, Tom Hanks, and Joan Cusack as Buzz, Woody, and Jessie. The new characters that will be introduced in the film are Ducky and Bunny, who will be voiced by Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele.

Toy Story 4 is scheduled for release on June 21, 2019
