Lewis Pullman opened up about his reported casting as Sentry in the upcoming MCU film Thunderbolts.

A few weeks ago, it was reported that the Top Gun: Maverick actor joined the cast after Steven Yeun exited the project due to scheduling conflicts following the production delay.

Marvel Studios remains mum on the details surrounding the film which will team up the fan-favorite supporting characters and villains from past projects.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter during the red carpet at the recent Film Independent Spirit Awards ceremony, Pullman was asked about his reported involvement in Thunderbolts.

He played coy with his response as he declined to give a proper answer to the question.

"I am having fun at Venice Beach in Santa Monica. Where are we? Santa Monica. I'm just going wherever the wind takes me," the actor said with a smile.

This is the first time that Pullman publicly addressed his potential involvement in the MCU film after his casting was reported.

Since the MCU actors are always sworn to secrecy, it's not surprising to see Pullman evading the question and giving a cryptic response when asked about his involvement.

Florence Pugh, who is reprising the role of Yelena Belova, recently revealed that she has already begun filming the MCU film.

"I've just started my next movie, my next Marvel movie, Thunderbolts. I've been shooting that," she told Entertainment Tonight during the premiere event for Dune: Part Two last Sunday night.

It is exciting to hear these updates for the MCU film as fans have been patiently waiting for news and updates and it is great to hear that production has already started after several months of massive delay.

Thunderbolts is slated to arrive in theaters on May 2, 2025.
