Brie Larson played coy on her potential MCU return as Carol Danvers in a future project when she was asked in a recent interview.
Following the disappointing box office results of The Marvels, fans have been wondering whether the Oscar winner will continue playing the MCU hero in future projects and continue her journey.
The ending of the film suggested that there are still more stories to tell with the main characters in the future including Carol Danvers.

Brie Larson Offers Cryptic Response on MCU Return
Speaking with Extra during a red carpet interview at the recent 30th Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, Larson was briefly asked about the plans for her MCU return.
She simply responded, "I don't have anything to say about that."
This is the first time that Larson commented on her MCU future following the release of the film and making headlines for the disappointing box office performance.
It's not a surprising response from the actress since Marvel Studios is known for being secretive and Larson wants to respect the rule by not mentioning any details about what's next for her in the franchise.
Since The Marvels failed to meet the expectations of its box office results, it is possible that Marvel Studios is currently figuring out its plans for the characters and making sure that their journey will continue in some capacity.
At this point, it is looking like Larson won't be starring in another solo MCU movie and she'll be a supporting character in another project instead or become part of the upcoming Avengers movies.
It might take a while before we will be hearing more details on the plans for Carol Danvers' future in the MCU and fans need to keep their patience and wait for any news and updates in the coming months.
