Thor Star Chris Hemsworth’s Trainer Says He Can Get as Ripped as Hulk Hogan

Chris Hemsworth might not be done playing Thor just yet, but the Avengers: Endgame star has a new role set up for him while he waits for Thor: Love and Thunder to begin production. Marvel's Asgardian God of Thunder is going to star as Hulk Hogan in Netflix's upcoming biopic, and Hemsworth is supposed to get even a bigger physique to play the part.

Speaking in an interview with Daily Mail, Jono Castano Acero, the trainer responsible for transforming Hemsworth in Hulkamania, says that the actor is more than capable of getting to the 24-inch python shape.

Hemsworth is going to pack on some major pounds for the role, so it's going to be tough work, of course.

"With any transformation, diet, exercise and your mental state all play a big role in the outcome," explained Jono. "Chris has always looked amazing in all his roles, so I am confident he can achieve this physique."

Wrestling fans know that Hogan used steroids to achieve his epic wrestling physique, so it's going to be quite a challenge. Not only will Hemsworth have to be in his best shape, but he'll have to be in a mentally good place training for the role of Hogan.

"One of the most important aspects I get my clients to think about is why they want to make the change," Acero told the entertainment news outlet, "Your mental state needs to be a positive one."

We can't wait to see the results of Hemsworth's training.

Netflix has yet to confirm the official release date of the Hulk Hogan biopic but we'll update everyone as soon as we get word.
