Thor: Ragnarok Director Possibly Teasing The Return Of Natalie Portman

There's been no sign of Natalie Portman returning for her role as Jane Foster in Thor: Ragnarok, and Portman herself has even expressed that she is "done" with Marvel movies, but director Taika Waititi seems to be teasing the return of Portman in some way.

Here's his post on Twitter:

Now, I know that the image is just an in-joke to her work on Leon: The Professional, but Waititi's caption is what's causing all this speculation. He writes down "Heed the signs." then hashtags #Ragnarok, so it's likely he's not just sharing it for the Leon reference.

Is Jane Porter going to return? Is she going to be pregnant the next time we see her? A lot of scenarios are definitely possible. In all honesty, I don't really feel the need to see Portman returning to the franchise. I felt that her romance with Thor was a bit forced, and her character isn't particularly interesting from the get-go; it would be a lot more fun to see Kat Dennings' Darcy form a romance with Thor — or maybe one of the Warriors Three.

Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor's quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela (Cate Blanchett) from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.

Portman or no Portman, expect Thor: Ragnarok to hit theaters Nov. 3.
