Thor: Love And Thunder Villains Have Reportedly Been Revealed

Thor: Love and Thunder might not be set for release until 2021, but word on the street has it that Marvel has already decided on the villains that it wants to feature in Taika Waititi's second entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to a report by We Got This Covered, sources have revealed that Marvel has already decided on two major villains in Thor: Love and Thunder. One of these villains is going to be Enchantress. For those unfamiliar with the character, Enchantress is a witch from Marvel comics who seeks to become romantically involved with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and destroy Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). We're not quite sure whether Love and Thunder is going to give the character the same origin, or whether Waititi is going to do a little switcheroo and make Enchantress interested in Jane instead ā€“ which wouldn't be too farfetched considering the fact that Jane is supposed to appear in the film as the Mighty Thor.

There aren't any names yet attached to the role of Enchantress, however, the entertainment news outlet notes that there have been rumors going around before saying that Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence would be taking on a villain role in the fourth Thor movie.

The second villain reportedly set to appear in Love and Thunder is supposed to be the angels from Thor comics. This group of villains has wanted to get their hands on Asgard for the longest time in the comics, however, the angels ended up losing to Odin in one of his great wars. But now that Asgard (the planet) is gone, the angels find the people ripe for the taking.

Of course, as exciting as these rumors sound, we'll have to wait and see how true the report actually is.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to premiere on November 5, 2021.
