If it wasn't obvious enough, Marvel Studios is kicking things into an even higher gear this 2022 and it's already safe to assume that it's the Marvel Cinematic Universe's biggest year yet. Now, as fans are beginning to grow impatient over the trailer's release, Marvel has begun its marketing work for Love and Thunder. Over the weekend, images of the film's upcoming Hasbro Marvel Legends line leaked online and they offer all sorts of spoilers imaginable — from the character's looks all the way to the film's intriguing plot.

Turns out, the beloved Avenger will be taking on a new persona as "Ravager Thor". Initial reports claimed that Hemsworth's character will become the MCU's version of Thunderstrike, a fan-favorite character from the '80s comics but it's safe to assume that they only took inspiration from him. While it's a little too early to jump to conclusions, rumor has it that Odinson will become "unworthy" in Love and Thunder and it's probably the reason why he decided to team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy. And seeing as The Ravagers lost its leader in Yondu, it makes total sense for Thor to actually take over the group. The question is, will the Guardians and Ravagers finally be able to co-exist or are we looking at another civil war between the two factions?

Thor: Love and Thunder is expected to hit cinemas on July 8, 2022.
