More than a month after its release, Thor: Love and Thunder continues to do well at the box office as it already earned more than $700 million worldwide despite the mixed reception from the critics. However, its theatrical run will come to an end very soon as the film has already set its release date on Disney+ next month.
Disney+ and Marvel Studios have announced that Thor: Love and Thunder is coming to the streamer on September 8 as part of the Disney+ Day line-up. In addition, they also announced that the film's Assembled episode will also release on the same day accompanying its Disney+ debut.

The Assembled episode of Thor: Love and Thunder will see the likes of Taika Waititi, Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, and Tessa Thompson as they divulge the secrets behind the creation of the film. It will feature in-depth interviews with the cast and crew along with raw and unseen footage from the set and beyond.
The film's streaming on Disney+ will also include an IMAX Enhanced option just like some of the other MCU films on the platform. Subscribers will have an option to enjoy IMAX’s expanded aspect ratio at home, which provides up to 26 percent more picture for an immersive viewing experience.
It is exciting to hear that the film is coming to Disney+ in just a few weeks since fans will now have a chance to relieve it in the comfort of their home as well as watch its behind-the-scenes documentary. People who haven't seen the film will also get the opportunity to finally see it as long as they are subscribed to Disney+.
