Brie Larson is all about Captain Marvel being the most powerful hero in the MCU, and she's confident that her character is worthy of lifting Thor's hammer Mjolnir. She just posted up a photo in her IG with the hammer, and the new Thor Natalie Portman decided to have fun in the comments.

We don't really know if Captain Marvel or Thor will meet in the MCU again, but it will definitely be interesting to see Carol Danvers take a more major role moving forward. Though she was in Avengers: Endgame, I always felt that Captain Marvel was kind of sidelined. Hopefully with the new movies set to come out, we get to see Captain Marvel really come to form in Phase 5.
As for Jane Foster's future in the MCU, I'm really excited to see where Taika Waititi takes the story. Foster's Thor has kind of a grim origin in the comics, and after the cartoonish take on Thor: Ragnarok, I'm kind of hoping that Waititi makes Love and Thunder more grounded when it comes to the emotional beats. Hopefully it's a good enough take that Portman herself would be interested in coming back. After Padme Amidala, I'm happy to see her become another childhood hero for a new generation of little girls.
Thor: Love and Thunder is set for a release on Nov. 5, 2021.
