Thor: Love and Thunder Might Use The Mandalorian's Technology for Shooting

Thor: Love and Thunder was already announced for a 2022 release but there are reports that claim filming will start soon, especially since cast members like Natalie Portman have been spotted in the land down under. While filming will be starting eventually, it looks like they still want everyone to work safely as there are now rumors claiming that Love and Thunder will use The Volume technology that made The Mandalorian look so good.

According to a report from MCU Cosmic, director Taika Waititi has some experience using The Volume since he did direct an episode of The Mandalorian. Since COVID-19 is a very real threat, as the recent infections of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Robert Pattinson have shown, we don't blame them for doing this. Plus, considering how good The Mandalorian looks, movie viewers won't be able to tell the difference.

Fans should probably take this with a grain of salt since movie details like these are rarely talked about but Disney should probably do this, for the sake of keeping everyone safe. It would also be wise to make it available for everyone so that other studios will be able to make movies much safer either but we can't imagine the House of Mouse doing that.

Thor: Love and Thunder is expected to be one of the crazier MCU movies, which is no surprise since Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi is returning to direct. We know that this movie is going to feature a proper lesbian Valkyrie and Jane Foster as Thor, which should be interesting. Two Thors in one movie? Nothing to complain about there.

Marvel will reportedly release Thor: Love and Thunder on February 11, 2022.
