Thor: Love and Thunder First Reactions Are In: "Loads of Laughs," "Emotionally Mature"

There is a lot of excitement right now for Thor: Love and Thunder as it marks our favorite God of Thunder's next adventure in the MCU and the much-awaited return of Jane Foster after years of absence. Of course, just like any MCU project that gets released, a lot of fans are wondering whether it will be another great entry in the franchise. Now, it looks like the early reactions to the highly-anticipated film have arrived.

The film recently had its world premiere event where some critics and journalists were also able to see it in advance. While they are still under embargo to share their full review, they were allowed to share their social media reactions right after the event.

Based on the reactions so far, it looks like the film did deliver as it received a lot of praises for its humor, visuals, emotional moments, Taika Waititi's direction, and the performances of the cast particularly Christian Bale (who is being singled out for his villainous role) and Natalie Portman.

The early reactions that we've seen so far for the film have been promising and this is certainly good news for those who have been looking forward to seeing it since it is a sign that they might end up liking it as well. After the huge success of Ragnarok, there were high expectations for this film especially since Waititi returned to direct as well as Portman, who hasn't made her proper MCU appearance since The Dark World.

However, we do have to point out that these is all just early reactions and they can only express their first impressions of the film within 280 characters per tweet and they are not yet allowed to share their reviews where they can really share their in-depth thoughts. It's also subjective so you might have a different reaction when you finally see it in a few weeks. Either way, this is a great sign that it's going to be another well-received film in the MCU.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to be released in theaters on July 8.
