Paramount Pictures just released the third trailer for Star Trek Beyond, and it shows us a different landscape of the universe. It looks like there's a lot more explosions as well. The trailer also debuted a new single by Rihanna, and unlike the Beastie Boys track in the first trailer that made some fans cringe, the music here actually fits with the tone of the film. Star Trek Beyond stars Chris Pine and Captain Kirk, Idris Elba, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, Zachary Quinto, Sofia Boutella, and Karl Urban. The film is directed by Justin Lin, and is written by Simon Pegg and Doug Jung.
Star Trek Beyond hits theaters July 22.
