There’s Going To Be More Giant-Man In Ant-Man And The Wasp

It looks like there's going to be more of Scott Lang's Giant Man in Ant-Man and the Wasp next year.

Speaking in an interview with Empire Magazine (via Comic Book Movie) about the upcoming Ant-Man sequel, director Peyton Reed hints at the appearance of Giant-Man in the upcoming film.

"The events of Captain America: Civil War gave us something clear, which is: What was Hank Pym and Hope Van Dyne's reaction to Scott having taken this technology out into the world in Civil War? We had a lot of fun playing around with that. And we play with size and scale a lot. I love the idea of Giant-Man."

Sure, Paul Rudd's Lang might have debuted as the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Ant-Man before joining Captain America's (Chris Evans) side in Captain America: Civil War, however the superhero brawl movie helped Lang test the formula which allowed him to turn into Giant-Man in the field. Reed's interview with the publication helps fans learn that Ant-Man and the Wasp will address the new giant-man formula as well as learn about what happened after Lang broke out of the Raft at the end of Civil War.

Ant-Manand the Wasp is slated to debut on July 6, 2018. Marvel is also preparing for its upcoming Avengers movie, Infinity War, which is slated to release on May 4, 2018.
