Genoa City is about to get even more dramatic as The Young and the Restless celebrates its 50th anniversary with a cast of familiar faces.

Among them is Amanda Sinclair, played by Mishael Morgan, who is set to stir up trouble once again, according to recently revealed spoilers. Fans of the long-running soap opera can expect plenty of twists and turn as Amanda makes her highly anticipated return to the show.

After Amanda's departure from The Young and the Restless, it was revealed that actress Mishael Morgan wanted to pursue other projects. However, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Amanda is set to make a dramatic return to the show, representing Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) in her lawsuit against Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

While Lily initially tries to reconcile with Devon, Amanda is determined to make him suffer for the pain he caused her. As a scorned woman, Amanda sees the court case as the perfect opportunity to get her revenge.

Amanda's Departure in Y&R

Amanda was a significant character on the show, introduced in 2019 as the long-lost twin sister of Hilary Curtis and the love interest of Devon. Heartbroken and furious, Amanda ended their relationship and left for Virginia to care for her ill mother, Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey). Despite her diminished screentime in 2022, she returned to Genoa City only to discover Devon's infidelity with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).

Amanda's strong and determined personality means that she is unlikely to forgive Devon easily, even with his apology. As her return to the show promises to bring more drama, fans of The Young and the Restless can expect plenty of twists and turns as Amanda seeks revenge against her former lover.
