Even though the story of The Worst of Evil isn't exactly an original concept, it does a pretty good job in its execution. And considering the K-Drama brings together some of the most sought-after actors in South Korea, this can only be expected. So who else stars in The Worst of Evil?

Ji Chang-wook as Park Jun-mo
As mentioned, Ji Chang-wook stars as Park Jun-mo, the lead character in the story. Since he is working undercover, he has to keep his assignment a secret.
So when he discovers that his wife Yoo Eui-jeong (played by Im Se-mi) is involved in the case, things get a bit complicated.
Chang-wook has starred in other K-Dramas like Backstreet Rookie, The Sound of Magic, Empress Ki, and many more.
Wi Ha-joon as Jung Gi-cheul
The antagonist in this Kdrama is none other than Wi Ha-joon, who plays Jung Gi-cheul in the series.
Apart from being the leader of the Gangnam drug cartel, Gi-cheul is a former DJ. He stars in the show as a drug dealer hoping to get his new drug, Gangname Crystal, to be widespread throughout the areas he possesses.
Although Ha-joon plays a villain in The Worst of Evil, he does a pretty good job in being the good guy in his other shows like Squid Game, Bad and Crazy, Little Women, and 18 Again. But then again, he did play a pretty convincing serial killer in Midnight.
The wide range of characters just shows how versatile Ha-joon can be in this industry.

Im Se-mi as Yoo Eui-jeong
Im Se-mi plays the role of Yoo Eui-jeong, the wife of Jun-mo who is also a narcotics officer. She also volunteers to go undercover without the knowledge of her husband. Since she has a past with Gi-cheul, it complicates things. Plus, it puts Jun-mo's plans in danger as he has to keep watch over his wife and not make it obvious with Gi-cheul.
Se-mi has appeared in a number of Kdramas, such as True Beauty, Duty After School, Shopping King Louis, and many more.
She is also a theater actress, who has performed on stage for The Perfect Other, Thief's Diary, and Thursday Romance.
