The World Ends With You Anime Drops New Trailer with Ending Theme Song


Are you ready for the anime adaptation of The World Ends With You? A new trailer for the upcoming anime has just been dropped and it highlights the ending theme by ASCA.

The official site for The World Ends With You the Animation dropped the new teaser that shows new animation created by Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045's Ilya Kuvshinov. The trailer also features the ending theme titled Carpe Diem performed by ASCA and written by the franchise's composer Takeharu Ishimoto. Check it out below.

The upcoming anime based on the Square Enix game of the same name is still a month away from its premiere but fans who can't wait are in for a treat. The first episode will get its world premiere at the UG Shibuya Fest on March 14. In addition to the premiere, the cast of the anime will be present at the live-stream event.

The anime's voice cast includes Kouki Uchiyama as Neku, Anna Hachimine as Shiki, Kenjiro Tsuda as Sanae Hanekoma, Satomi Arai as Uzuki Yashiro, Anri Katsu as Koki Kariya, Subaru Kimura as Beat, Ayana Taketatsu as Rhyme, Ryohei Kimura as Joshua, Kenji Takahashi as Yodai Higashizawa, Takayuki Fujimoto as Sho Minamimoto, Hitomi Nabatame as Mitsuki Konishi, and Hiroshi Shirokuma as Megumi Kitaniji.

The first episode of The World Ends With You the Animation will premiere at the UG Shibuya Fest on March 14. The rest of the series will air in Japan on April 9. The US premiere has not yet been announced. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
