The Witcher may have had issues in regards to pacing and writing but it did excel in other areas, such as lush visuals and some cool fight scenes. One fight scene that got fans talking as Geralt in The Blaviken, where he took down a group of men by himself. It's a fantastically brutal scene and one that has been a constant topic of conversation for fans of the show.
Netflix has released a breakdown video of this epic fight, with Geralt himself, Henry Cavill, doing the breakdown. He does a great job of detailing the fight and how certain shots were taken, which students of filmmaking can more than appreciate. As someone who studied film in college, it's still really cool seeing extra videos like this.
Since DVDs and Blu-rays are quickly becoming niche items that only hardcore fans buy, it seems like we'll be getting more of these videos. Hopefully, we get to see more of these kinds of videos that have the cast talking about the filmmaking, which will always be cool to see. Considering the number of memorable scenes this series has given us, it will be fun to see what they break down next.
