It's finally here! Fans have been waiting for The Witcher Season 2 trailer and it confirms that Princess Ciri will need to face her destiny. However, that's easier said than done as more danger lies ahead for Ciri and Geralt of Rivia.
The trailer opens with Ciri asking Geralt if she is truly his destiny. However, the White Wolf simply tells her that she is so much more than that. Geralt also confirms that Cintra is no longer a safe place for the princess and decides it's time to take her to a place where he believes will ensure her safety.
It doesn't take long before the two reach Kaer Morhen and Ciri wonders what the place is. Geralt assures her that it is her home but the Witchers who reside there aren't so sure about the princess' presence.
There's a good reason why the other Witchers are not so trusting. There is something dangerous about Ciri as she admits that she is afraid that she could burn the whole world. Nevertheless, Geralt assures her that he is there for her when she is ready to face her fears.
It's an action-packed trailer that teases what will be happening in The Witcher Season 2. In addition to Ciri starting her training, people are still searching for Yennefer. Will she be reunited with Geralt and ultimately help Ciri face her destiny?
The Witcher Season 2 stars Henry Cavill as Geralt, Freya Allan as Ciri, and Anya Chalotra as Yennefer. The series returns to Netflix on December 17, 2021.
