It will still be a long wait for The Witcher Season 2 but Netflix wants to make sure fans will be hyped up for the next chapter of the series during the holiday season. A new teaser invites viewers to have fun during "Witchmas".
The new teaser was shared by the official The Witcher Twitter account and although it features footage from the first season, they still managed to bring in some holiday cheers. Check it out below.
"Save your sleds for another day, for now, is a time to simply slay. 'Tis the season of #Witchmas," the caption reads.
We're loving the fact that they added some unnecessary Christmas edits into the teaser. However, most fans are also complaining, claiming that they would feel better during the holidays if they knew what would happen in Season 2. On the other hand, there might be some new footage in the teaser but we'll have to watch it a couple more times. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
It might be too early to ask for a real teaser for The Witcher Season 2 considering that the series is still in production. Nevertheless, we're hoping that Netflix will drop a new video before the end of the year.
The Witcher Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. However, it is already expected to air on Netflix in 2021.
