The Witcher Season 2: Henry Cavill Breaks Silence After Terrifying Set Injury

It has been almost a month since it was revealed that Henry Cavill was injured while working on The Witcher Season 2 and there is little doubt that fans are concerned about the actor. Luckily, Cavill has decided to break his silence and shared an update on his condition.

Cavill took to his official Instagram account to share a new selfie. Interestingly, the caption confirmed that he is taking a break from filming and even revealed the truth about his accident. Check it out below.

"We are in lockdown here the UK so I'm using my once a day outdoor exercise to go for my first jog since my hamstring injury! (More on that another time). It wasn't fast, and it certainly was far, but it has been a major step in my recovery, and my first step to getting back into the groove after a Christmas that may have involved more than a few cups of mulled wine, and an exceptionally fat Turkey," Cavill wrote.

It was previously reported that Cavill suffered a leg injury on the set of The Witcher Season 2 and although it wasn't serious enough to need an ambulance, Cavill was forced to stop filming until his leg heals. However, it looks like the Justice League star is doing a lot better since then and is already expected to resume work on the Netflix series soon.

The second season of The Witcher is currently in production without Cavill and has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
