The Witcher Season 2 Has Started Shooting

Netflix's The Witcher continues to dominate the world in quicker succession than expected and fans are more than excited to see the story continue in The Witcher Season 2. As we wait for more information to come out, ComicBook.com has learned that the second season has already begun shooting. This is great news since we can assume that scripting has been completed, or, at the least, is almost done.

Aside from this update and some casting news, there still isn't a lot of information about The Witcher Season 2. Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich did confirm that the show would be told in a mostly linear fashion this time, easing in fans who had problems with the time-jumping from season 1. It's obvious that we're all very excited to learn more about this season so let's hope that shooting goes well for the team.

The end of season 1 finally united Geralt and Ciri, with more adventures waiting for the two. Yennefer and Triss are also expected to play bigger roles in the next season, with fans hoping we learn more about The Witchers. Fans also want a Vesemir played by Mark Hamill but we'll have to wait and see if that ever happens.

Fans can stream The Witcher right now on Netflix. They can also give the games a shot, with The Witcher 3 proving to be a good time for anyone who loves video games.
