The Witcher Halloween Teaser Reveals New Monsters in Season 2

It may still be a long time before we can get an official teaser for The Witcher Season 2. However, a special Halloween teaser featuring the creatures from the previous season actually revealed two interesting new monsters that Geralt of Rivia will need to face next year.

The special video for The Witcher titled Geralt's Monster Mash is basically a highlight reel of all the creatures that Geralt had encountered last year. This includes the kikimora from the premiere episode as well as the golden dragon Vilentretenmerth. The fights are set to the song Monster Mash by Bobby Pickett.

Interestingly, the description for the video teases on some surprises. "The White Wolf takes Halloween as a personal challenge. But keep your eyes peeled for a few sweet treats... you won't want to miss what's hidden," it reads. Upon closer inspection, there are two never-before-seen monsters in the clip.

The first one shows up at the 0:15 mark and looks like a bloody eye covered in hay and grass that is moving on the ground. The second one is at the 0:30 mark looking like a harmless effigy made up of three skulls that might turn out to be yet another creature. You can check them out or find more monsters in the video below.

The second season of The Witcher is currently in production and is expected to wrap up by early next year. The Witcher Season 2 is then set to premiere on Netflix by late 2021.
