The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf is finally here and it had an awesome surprise for fans who tuned in to watch the anime film. Not surprisingly, people had awesome reactions to the unexpected treat by the end of the Witcher prequel.

In the film's climax, the legendary battle at Kaer Morhen finds Witchers dealing with townsfolk and monsters alike. The fight ultimately ends with Vesemir being the sole survivor and he finds the young students who were told by Lady Zerbst to leave the fortress.
Vesemir stops in front of the children and tosses them the medallions he had taken from fallen Witchers, telling the boys to decide. The bald boy resists, saying that "they hate us." Vesemir replies, "There will always be another monster, Geralt," and the child finally picks up one of the medallions.
That's right, Geralt was a little bald kid before he grew up to become a Witcher with luxurious silver locks. Needless to say, fans are loving this revelation about Henry Cavill's character in the Witcher main series.
It's an awesome way to tease Geralt of Rivia's origins and although it is brief, we are loving the idea that puberty hit him really hard somewhere along the way. Still, we can't wait to see the grown-up Geralt in The Witcher Season 2 later this year.
The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf is now streaming on Netflix. The Witcher Season 2 will premiere on the streaming service on December 17, 2021.
