The Witcher Cast Reveal Liam Hemsworth's Intense Preparations For New Role

There is little doubt that people are already wondering about how Liam Hemsworth is going to take over as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher Season 4. Not surprisingly, the Hunger Games actor is taking his new role very seriously and his future castmates revealed he is undergoing some intense preparations for the Netflix series.

Joey Batey Shares Liam Hemsworth's Intense Training For The Witcher

The cast of The Witcher recently spoke to GamesRadar where they were asked if they have already met Liam Hemsworth. Joey Batey, who plays Jaskier in the show, confirmed he has been in contact with their upcoming cast member.

"I've been in contact with him," Batey said. "We've been emailing, we’ve been exchanging our favorite quotes from the books and things like that."

"I don’t think any of us are in the position to advise on playing Geralt but he’s throwing himself into it," he continued. "His training regime is insane and he’s been devouring the books."

Joey Batey isn't the only one who has been contacting Hemsworth since the casting was announced. Anya Chalotra has also been keeping up with the actor.

"Yes, just through email, a message of support when the news came out," she said. "I can’t wait to meet him."

The update pretty much confirms that production on the next season of The Witcher has not yet started. However, there is a huge chance we'll get some news on Season 4 soon.

It has already been confirmed that Henry Cavill will play Geralt of Rivia for the last time in The Witcher Season 3. Liam Hemsworth will then take over as the White Wolf in the fourth and fifth season of the series.

The first volume of The Witcher Season 3 will premiere on Netflix on June 28, 2023. The second set of episodes will then begin streaming on July 27, 2023.
