The Witcher Announces New Trailer Arriving Tomorrow

While Henry Cavill may not be returning as Superman anytime soon, he is going to be another fictional hero in the form of Geralt of Rivia in the upcoming The Witcher on Netflix. It's been three month since we got the teaser for the series, but now the show is going to give us a full trailer tomorrow.

Here's the announcement:

While the most recognizable Witcher property right now is the game from CD Projekt Red, The Witcher is actually a fantasy book series by Andrzej Sapkowski. We don't know how much the Netflix show will be drawing from the game, but I imagine they're going to make something closer to the novels.

With Game of Thrones having ended earlier this year, I'm sure fans are looking for another mature fantasy adventure, and The Witcher could very much fill in that gap. The trailers and promos have looked amazing so far, and a lot of people can't wait to see Cavill in action as Geralt. Hopefully the series manages to catch on long enough to encompass the whole of the books.

The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family. Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.

The Witcher has no release date as of now, but hopefully we get it when the trailer drops tomorrow.
