In the third episode, Mary faced her inner demons by abandoning the idea of being a hunter for life and abandoning her father's desire in order to survive in a monster world. The Akrida is becoming more powerful as she gathers her second consecutive essence from the monsters Mary, John, and her pals are hunting.
The Winchesters Season 1 Episode 4 will center on John as he attempts to defeat a monster who is a World War II soldier. Given how recently John returned from serving in the Vietnam War, the new hunter could be reintroduced to some demons from his past that is plaguing him.
We could also discover more about his friend, who died and for whom John feels a great deal of guilt.
