The Walking Dead Star Jeffery Dean Morgan Lambasts Armie Hammer Over Insensitive Stan Lee Comments

There's been so much heartache over Stan Lee's passing back on Monday, and the past few days Hollywood has been paying tribute to the legendary Marvel comic book writer, editor, and publisher online. However, while Lee's fans, friends and colleagues have been honoring the comic book legend, Armie Hammer has been commenting on the tributes to Lee, ruffling a few feathers including Jeffrey Dean Morgan's.

In a tweet hat has since been deleted ever since it was lambasted by The Walking Dead's Negan (via ComicBook.com), Hammer made a rough comment about all the love being sent to Lee saying that he was "so touched by all of the celebrities posting pictures of themselves with Stan Lee...no better way to commemorate an absolute legend than putting up a picture of yourself."

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. star's tweet upset so many fans online, that Morgan just couldn't help but call out Hammer for his comment.

"Looks like you found a way to use others ways of mourning and their memories to draw some attention to yourself. You sound like a real asshat," the Watchmen star lambasted on a post.

Morgan's tweet gathered close to 10 thousand likes on Twitter and 2 thousand retweets before Hammer deleted his original tweet, erasing the entire thread including Morgan's sharp response.

Morgan definitely makes a point – Hammer's comment sounded pretty insensitive and spiteful. There's nothing wrong with celebrities honoring and remembering Lee by sharing memories of the times that they've been together. It's pretty classless how Hammer has to belittle someone for celebrating Stan Lee the best way they can.
