The Walking Dead Season 7 Finale Suggests Rollercoaster of Emotions

The Walking Dead is about to conclude its latest run with a grand war. Sadly, even with the swelling music and inspirational team effort, not everything will go Rick's way.

Already, there are speculations on what could happen and who the casualties of the war could be, showrunner Scott M. Gimple offers a nice sum-up description of what could happen to Entertainment Weekly. And it's, well, everything:

"It's the highs and lows, brightness and darkness, alpha to omega, a quiet-loud-sad-happy tragiredemptive circus of emotion, anguish, and grace. I hope people feel it all come together and have that rush you feel when the roller coaster finally coasts back to the platform."

The summary itself is very broad and vague, giving us not a lot to go on in terms of who could actually be eliminated before we all move on to the next season.

My biases remain—Daryl, Michonne, and Carol, the last one being that she has just begun to come back to us following that big reveal. But with Andrew Lincoln's recent statement that even he doesn't feel as safe when it comes to becoming a casualty, it's anyone's guess at this point.

The Walking Dead's season finale, titled The First Day of the Rest of Your Life, will air this April 2 on AMC.
