Fans are truly hyped for James Gunn's The Suicide Squad putting on the spotlight on Ratcatcher II, Peacemaker, and Bloodsport. The director has made a massive project in Marvel and has now taken charge of DC's The Suicide Squad. It will be the second attempt to bring the infamous anti-hero team to the big screen ever since David Ayer brought it to life in 2016.
The movie will be a bit of a sequel and a soft reboot of the 2016 version but stands on its own. The film has a huge cast and an R-rating which means that there will be no holds barred in the movie. The Suicide Squad will debut in theaters and on HBO Max at the same time in August.
The Suicide Squad will feature the new members in Task Force X. The early promotional materials for the movie showed that the group will be split into two for the latest mission. They will travel to the island of Corto Maltese to destroy a Nazi-era lab.
The director has hinted that there will be some casualties in the film.
In the new images that were released by Total Film through GamesRadar, Peacemaker (John Cena) and Bloodsport (Idris Elba) embarked on a quest with Polka Dot Man (David Dastmalchian), Ratcatcher II (Daniela Melchior), and King Shark (Sylvester Stallone).

Fans are advised to not get attached to the characters which further proves that there will be many deaths before the movie ends. The Suicide Squad is set to be released on August 4, 2021.
