It looks like Nathan Fillion's mystery role in The Suicide Squad has finally been revealed. Now we have our first look at Arm-Fall-Off-Boy and more in the highly anticipated film's set photos.
The set photos were shared by Just Jared and it offers a glimpse at Fillion in a sleeveless suit, which should make it easy for him to yank off his appendages. In addition to that, Fillion is joined by Jai Courtney, Flula Borg, Pete Davidson, Mayling Ng, and Sean Gunn. You can see the photos here.
We already know that Courtney is playing Captain Boomerang but in case you were wondering, Borg appears to be playing Javelin while Davidson's costume might confirm he will portray Savant. The interesting one here is Ng's character, who looks a lot like the alien Mongal. We're not sure who Gunn is playing since he's in a mo-cap suit but there have been rumors that he will play Weasel.
It was previously reported that Fillion will play Arm-Fall-Off Boy, who is fond of detaching his limbs and using them to beat up his enemies. We don't know about you, but it sounds like a great role for the Firefly actor.
The Suicide Squad will be directed by James Gunn and will also bring back Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. We have yet to see the rest of the cast which includes Idris Elba, Storm Reid, and John Cena.
The Suicide Squad is scheduled for release on August 6, 2021.
