The Star Wars Celebration Mural was More Massive Than We Thought It Would Be

Last month it was revealed that Star Wars Celebration would be bringing a large mural and we even got an image of it released. What we didn't account for was that the image we got was merely a small portion of the whole thing, and some fans who are already at celebration spotted it being put up—and it is massive.

Check it out:

What's cool is, the mural includes nods to all the films that have come out (even anthology ones) and also has live-action renditions of characters from Clone Wars and Rebels. There's even a hidden portion at the end which some people are expecting will be unveiled once we get our first look at the Episode IX panel this coming Friday.

I guess there might be some kind of scheme to expand this in the future, but I think capping everything off with Episode IX seems fitting. When the other trilogies by Rian Johnson and David Benioff and D.B. Weiss come out, I'm sure Celebration will find its own way to commemorate those stories apart from the Skywalkers.

For now, Celebration is gearing up for a lot of huge reveals. Though Episode IX may be on the spotlight, everyone is also eager to get their first look at EA Games' Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order as well as Jon Favreau's The Mandalorian. Hopefully, there are some other surprises that we haven't seen coming.

Catch Star Wars Episode IX in theaters Dec. 20. The panel takes place this coming Friday at Star Wars Celebration.
