The Simpsons is Ending Soon, Says Danny Elfman

It's no secret that The Simpsons is the longest-running American sitcom to date. But is it possible that the animated series has reached the end? Danny Elfman has just revealed that The Simpsons could be ending next year.

Elfman, who composed the show's iconic theme, recently spoke to Joe about his career. At one point, there were questions about how the latter episodes of The Simpsons seem to be less enjoyable than the early ones. Interestingly, Elfman pointed out that it didn't matter anymore since the series is coming to a close.

"Well, from what I've heard, it is coming to an end," Elfman said. "So, that argument will also come to an end."

It's a shocking revelation considering that The Simpsons was only renewed earlier this year. However, Elfman stated that it wasn't confirmed just yet.

"I don't know for a fact, but I've heard that it will be in its last year," he said.

People are still expecting the 32nd season of The Simpsons to air by next year. Does Elfman mean that Season 32, which will premiere in 2020, will be the final one? Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

The Simpsons first premiered in 1989 and has been going strong since then. However, there have been criticisms about the latter seasons of the show with some fans claiming that the series seems to be losing its touch. Nevertheless, we are still hoping that The Simpsons will continue for more years.
