The Russo Brothers Say They’re 'Always' Speaking with Marvel Studios

Joe and Anthony Russo might have completed their work on Avengers: Infinity and Avengers: Endgame, but it seems like the Marvel filmmakers continue to speak with Marvel Studio.

Speaking in an interview with ComicBook.com to discuss the new film out of its new production, AGBO, Joe and Anthony Russo are made to address the potential of a possible return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe now that the Russos have completed work on their two-part Avengers movie.

While the Russos don't sem to have any project with Marvel just yet, it seems like the filmmaking duo continue to speak with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige on a regular basis.

"We've talked to [Marvel chief creative officer] Kevin [Feige] and [Marvel Studios co-president] Lou [D'Esposito] all the time at Marvel. [Marvel Studios Executive Vice President of Production] Victoria [Alonso]. They're all your friends of ours. Texting, seeing how everyone's doing. We get together with Lou for regular dinners once a month and there's always conversations going on. I think, you know, when we all land on with the right project is for us all to team back up on what, we'll jump in feet first for sure," Joe told the entertainment news outlet.

It seems like the Russos developed a healthy relationship with the people over at Marvel. Though the Russos don't seem to be taking any other Marvel project right now, there's been a lot of clamor over the filmmakers potential directing a Secret Wars movie for Marvel Studios.

Let's wait and see whether it really comes to fruition.
