The Russo Brothers Drop by the Set of Jon Favreau's Star Wars: The Mandalorian

Jon Favreau was made a household name after he launched the MCU with the first Iron Man, but now he's working with Lucasfilm on a new show called Star Wars: The Mandalorian. Celebrities like Taika Waititi and Bryce Dallas Howard have confirmed their involvement with the show, and now the set has gotten a visit from Avengers' helmers, Joe and Anthony Russo.

With the Russos having originally worked with TV before they moved on to direct films, a lot of people are wondering if they will ever try to direct at least one episode of The Mandalorian. For now, it looks like the season is already set with directors, but that doesn't mean the Russos can't come back for the second season should The Mandalorian get renewed.

For now, the Russos are hard at work focusing on the release of Avengers 4. With Infinity War coming out to be one of the biggest films of the year, the pair has a lot of hype to live up to when it comes to the conclusion of Marvel Phase 3. Maybe when it's over they can consider moving on to something like Star Wars.

Personally, I'd rather they focus on that Community movie first should they get the chance.

A lot of fans were hoping for the release of the first trailer for Avengers 4 this month, but so far, Marvel hasn't given us anything; no trailer date or even teaser. Some still think that the trailer could be dropped out of nowhere come Nov. 30, but others are already coming to terms that we could get the reveal in December.

Catch Avengers 4 in theaters May 3, 2019. Star Wars: The Mandalorian debuts on Disney's streaming service sometime next year.
