The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie Drops Trailer Teasing the Bride of Futaro

Instead of a third season, the Quintessential Quintuplets will be ending the story with a movie and they dropped the second trailer for the film teasing the bride of Futaro with hints of who the lucky quint may be. While the readers of the manga of Negi Haruba already have an idea who among the five would be “the one,” but at this point, changes may still happen.

The second trailer of the Quintessential Quintuplets movie finally arrived and the clip teases who will be the bride of Futaro as the film will serve as the finale of the beloved anime show. Given that all of them have identical faces, it’s hard to determine who wins the hands of Futaro in marriage and while the followers of the manga know who among them gets chosen, there is a chance that adaptations may change who the lucky quint is.

TBS Animation officially released the trailer of the anime movie during Anime Japan 2022. The film is set to have a length of 130 minutes and surely, there are more revelations that the movie has in store other than who the bride is.

The Quintessential Quintuplets is based on the Japanese shōnen manga of the same name written and illustrated by Negi Haruba which recently concluded after the release of the 14th tankōbon volume. It was published in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine and released in English under Kodansha USA.

The Quintessential Quintuplets follows the Nakano sisters, Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki, and they fight over Futaro, their private tutor, to be his wife, and luckily, he was able to keep a photo of the quint who inspired him to become better every day. Throughout the anime series, the sisters are vying for the attention of Futaro and they try to outshine each other and win him over.

The Quintessential Quintuplets movie is scheduled for release in Japan on May 20, 2022. There is no international release date yet.
