The Punisher’s Stars Talk About Whether They’d Like To Crossover To The MCU

A crossover between the Marvel Netflix universe and the Marvel Cinematic Universe is something that fans have been hoping for ever since Marvel TV announced that it was working on Daredevil, and while a match-up between the heroes seems like something left to the comics, The Punisher Cast seems pretty open to the idea of a crossover.

Chatting with ABC studios (via Comicbook) to help promote the release of The Punisher on Netflix later this month, Marvel Netflix stars Jon Bernthal and Karen Page were asked whether they'd be open to popping up on the big screen and throwing lines with any of the Avengers.

While both seem open to the idea – if Marvel Studios makes sure that their characters are written right.

"I love this character, if it was written well, I would do it anywhere with anyone, preferably with Jon Bernthal all the time," Woll answered. "It depends on how it's written, if it's done well."

Bernthal sang a similar tune. "For me, I think Frank's, he's really in my heart, in my blood and my bones," Bernthal told the interviewer. "I care about him and I feel for him. I want him done right. If that's taken care of."

Bernthal's always felt a bond with The Punisher, telling fans at San Diego Comic-Con that he'd make sure he would deliver the kind of Frank Castle fans have known in the comics for years. While it sounds like an exciting idea to have Frank Castle wrecking havoc on the big screen, we'll just have to wait and see.

The Punisher makes its big debut on Netflix on November 17, 2017.
