The Predator Red-Band Trailer Features More Blood, Gore, And Hell-Hounds

A new red-band trailer for The Predator has just been released and it has more blood, gore, and a better look at the terrifying Hell-Hounds. In addition to that, we finally have more details about the team that will face the universe's most effective hunters.

The new trailer opens with Quinn McKenna (Boyd Holbrook) getting into the "Villainy Bus" and meeting Nebraska Williams (Trevante Rhoades). The other passengers introduce themselves as "murderers" and ask Quinn has joined them. Quinn hesitantly admits he "had a run-in with a space alien," prompting laughter. However, they start to believe him when he points out the thing that killed his men.

It's an awesome teaser that displays just what the Predator is capable of, from slicing a man in half to taking on a group of soldiers. There's a generous amount of blood and violence and f-bombs courtesy of Sterling K. Brown's Will Traeger. But best of all, we get to see more of the new Hell-Hounds that resemble their master.

The synopsis for The Predator reads as follows:

"From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home. The universe's most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race."

Shane Black's reboot certainly looks promising, as seen in the new trailer. Hopefully, the theatrical release can live up to the hype. Also, I hope there's just more of the awesome Hell-Hounds.

The Predator crashes into theaters on September 14.
