The Post-Credit Scene of Iron Fist Season 2 Teases Huge Status Quo Shift for Daredevil

Iron Fist season 2 had one hell of a surprise for fans during its post-credits scene and yes, "hell" is an appropriate word for what's coming. After going missing at the end of The Defenders, Matt Murdock appears at a confessional in the Iron Fist finale's post-credit scene and gives fans one hell of an ominous tease.

Consider Yourself Spoiled.

Appearing in his original all-black attire that he wore in season one and Daredevil: The Man Without Fear, Murdock has seemingly denounced his identity and might be devoting his life to be Daredevil full-time. That is one hell of a status quo to kick off season three, especially since Wilson Fisk aka The Kingpin of Crime is going to be making a return as well.

Obviously, this new status quo for Matt is going to affect Foggy Nelson and Karen Page quite a bit, not to mention his fellow Defenders. How Matt came to this realization after meeting his mom and seemingly losing Elektra (again) will definitely get the attention of fans.

Now, all we have to do is wait.

Daredevil season 3 is set to debut this year, though no release date was given as of this writing. Iron Fist season 2 can now be streamed on Netflix.
