The Mountain Reads Awesome Game Of Thrones-Inspired Poems For Valentine's Day

Anyone who feels like they are missing out on their beloved Game of Thrones this Valentine's Day is in for a treat. The Mountain is here to read some awesome love poems written by fans just for you.

The video comes from the YouTube channel SodaStream, who managed to find some of the sweetest (and sometimes downright awesome) Game of Thrones-inspired poems penned by fans. They roped in Hafþór Júlíus "Thor" Björnsson to strip down, lay back in front of the fire, and read the poems in the most seductive way possible.

Some poems are rather straightforward. "I love you like Kanye loves Kanye," wrote thiccboi3000 of Australia. However, others made sure that their passion could be felt by the entire Seven Kingdoms.

"Lannisters are red, White Walkers are blue, and on this Valentine's Day, I give all of Westeros to you. From the Wall to the North and through the Iron Isles, on this Valentine's Day, you bring me smiles," Javier Sierra of the USA wrote.

There is little doubt that Björnsson has an awesome sense of humor as he attempts to read each poem with a straight face. Of course, we're simply compelled to say only nice things about the guy because we don't want to suffer the same fate as Oberyn Martell.

The Mountain had once again employed the same method in killing another human being during Super Bowl 2019. The character made an appearance in the joint Bud Light/Game of Thrones commercial that aired during the big game. This time, the Mountain's unfortunate victim was the Bud Light Knight.

Björnsson returns as The Mountain in Game of Thrones Season 8, which premieres on HBO on April 14.
