The MCU’s Captain Marvel Is Strong Enough To Move Planets

Described as Marvel's biggest female hero in the Marvel comic book universe, Captain Marvel is making her way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and just like in the comics, she's going to be the most powerful hero among the Avengers.

Not only has she been described as the most powerful hero in the MCU by both Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and by the official Captain Marvel synopsis, but she's also been described as a hero strong enough to move planets.

Speaking with Total Film about her new role as Marvel's Carol Danvers, Brie Larson talks about the strength of Captain Marvel, gushing about her character in her interview with the publication (via Cosmic Book News).

"She's so, so strong," Larson tells the news outlet in an interview for the publication's latest issue. "She can move planets!"

While we're not really certain whether Larson's comment is a literal one, if Captain Marvel can physically move planets, then that would mean that Carol Danvers is actually even more powerful than the Thanos ( Josh Brolin). After all, the Mad Titan needed the help of the Infinity Stones to bring down the moon.

The only question know is how the film is going to come together, and how Marvel's going to explain Carol's absence from a majority of the events in the MCU. Let's wait and see how they weave everything together.

Captain Marvel hits cinemas March 8, 2019.
