The Matrix Resurrections Japanese Teaser Reveals Shocking Trinity Footage

We're less than a month away from the premiere of The Matrix Resurrections and there are finally more updates on the highly anticipated film. A new Japanese teaser has just been released and it features more footage from the upcoming movie. Amazingly, the promo gives us a shocking moment involving Trinity!

The Japanese teaser still features most of the scenes that we have already seen in the first trailer. However, this time we see more of what happens beyond the Matrix as Neo appears to have once again taken the red pill. There is a scene set in a train where Jessica Henwick's Bugs is pushing Neo through the wall where he finds himself in a new dimension.

It's a trippy promo that shows off some stunning special effects. One of the most notable sequences features Neo getting close to Trinity only for her to suddenly turn into binary code and disappear.

If you've never seen The Matrix before, this would be a shocking moment. However, fans already know what happened to Trinity and where it could lead to. Are you ready to take the red pill all over again?

The Matrix Resurrections is the fourth film in the franchise and it might not be the sequel everyone is expecting it to be. Producer David Mitchell previously shared that he has seen the full film and isn't quite sure how to describe it.

"I cannot tell you what this film is about, but I could explain what it is not. It's certainly not yet one more sequel, but something autonomous that contains however the three Matrix that preceded in a really ingenious way.," Mitchell said.

Whatever it is, we're ready to go down that rabbit hole all over again. The Matrix Resurrections will premiere in theaters and on HBO Max on December 22, 2021.
