I think it's safe to assume that a lot of comic book fans have been dying to see Keanu Reeves in either the Marvel Cinematic Universe or the DC Extended Universe and the idea of him not being involved in any of the aforementioned franchises almost sounds criminal.

Apparently, Reeves will once again be taking on a comic book role in one of DC's upcoming flicks. We reported last month that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will be headlining the animated film DC League of Super-Pets as Superman's dog Krypto and the film is said to have a star-studded cast.

Close to a month following the announcement, WB has revealed other A-list actors who will join The Rock in the project. Kevin Hart, Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, and yes, Keanu Reeves will all be part of the voice cast. So far, only Hart's role in the film was officially announced and the acclaimed comedian will be voicing Batman's trusty hound Ace. Check out the official teaser below:

You may think that the idea of Keanu voicing a DC character instead of taking part in a live-action project doesn't sound as exciting. While that may be true, I'm still excited to see or rather hear Reeves' voice in another superhero-centric project. Of course, just like any fan, I'm still holding out hope that we'll one day see the John Wick actor in a huge media franchise. I think that one has been way long overdue.
