The Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal Reportedly Being Eyed for Marvel’s Moon Knight

Now that he's successfully made his name in the Star Wars franchise as the lead star in Jon Favreau's Star Wars live-action series, The Mandalorian, word has it that Pedro Pascal may very well be cast in Marvel's upcoming Disney+ series, Moon Knight.

According to a report by Cheat Sheet, DC and Marvel insider Mikey Sutton just recently headed to Facebook to share a scoop about Moon Knight. The Comic Book Movie writer and reviewer claims that several inside sources have revealed Pascal as one of the names on the list of actors being considered to play Moon Knight in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Though Marvel has yet to arrange for talks and negotiations with The Mandalorian star, these insiders say that Pascal seems to hit all the right buttons for the role. The post mentions that one of the contributing factors to his potential casting is the fact that Pascal doesn't seem to have any issues with hiding his face for long periods of time on the small screen – something which we've seen him do in Disney's Star Wars live-action series.

While we won't forget to remind fans to take the report with a grain of salt, we're not really surprised to hear that Pascal is being considered for Moon Knight. Lucasfilm's live-action Star Wars series has been nothing short of a success. Fans love Pascal's Mando, and they love his little 50-year-old companion too. The Mando and Baby Yoda have seemingly united the Star Wars fanbase – a reprieve from all the divisiveness of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian is currently streaming on Disney+.
