The Mandalorian’s Numbers Prove it to be Least Controversial Star Wars Property

Star Wars: The Mandalorian did so much for the Star Wars franchise. Not only did the live-action series breathe new life into the galaxy far, far away, but it also managed to unite the Star Wars fanbase together as fans and critics gushed over the doe-eyed 50-year-old Baby Yoda.

Now, the numbers show just how positive The Mandalorian has been for the franchise. Forbes writer Paul Tassi just recently posted an article featuring a comparative list of Rotten Tomatoes audience scores and critic scores for different Star Wars projects, and it looks like there's very little gap between the scores for The Mandalorian.

Critics have scored the live-action Star Wars series with a 94% fresh score. Fans scored it at 93% fresh. That's only a 1% difference, the very least among all the different projects in the franchise.

Rise of Skywalker – 55% critics V. 86% audience (+31% gap)

The Mandalorian sits right in the middle of the list. Of course, it shouldn't come as a surprise to see the series become the least divisive in the entire franchise. Not only does the series have hardy action scenes, but it also features a great narrative.

Now that season 1 of The Mandalorian's come to an end, fans can only wonder what Jon Favreau has in store for Pedro Pascal's Mando and his little ward.
