The Mandalorian’s First Episode Includes Major Star Wars Spoiler

It looks like Jon Favreau prepared a major surprise for Star Wars fans in the very first episode of Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

The new Star Wars series is set to launch next month on Disney's upcoming streaming site, Disney+, and according to The New York Times, the pilot is going to include a "dramatic" spoiler for fans. The publication just recently wrote a detailed piece about Disney+'s launch, and The Mandalorian was part of the article.

"The Mandalorian, which contains a dramatic Star Wars-universe spoiler in the first episode and will be available the moment Disney Plus starts, has been as heavily promoted as a traditional feature film, with billboards, 30-second television commercials, radio spots, and digital ads," the news outlet wrote in its post.

We're not sure what this spoiler might be, but we're hoping that it has something to do with Boba Fett or some other major bounty hunter. After all, The Mandalorian does focus on the adventures of a lone Mandalorian Warrior (Pedro Pascal). It wouldn't be a surprise for the series to reveal that the Mandalorian actually has ties to Boba Fett.

Pascal is to be joined by Giancarlo Esposito from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, Gina Carano from Deadpool, Emily Swallow from Supernatural, Carl Weathers from Rocky and Predator, Nick Nolte from Down and Out In Beverly Hills, Omid Abtahi from American Gods, Taika Waititi from Thor: Ragnarok, Ming-Na Wen from Agents of SHIELD, and Werner Herzog.

The Mandalorian features episodes directed by Bryce Dallas Howard, Waititi, Rick Famuyiwa, Dave Filoni, and Deborah Chow.

The series is set to premiere during Disney+'s launch on November 12, 2019.
