The Mandalorian's previous episode may have been the longest one in the series yet and while that would normally excite fans, it left many quite pissed, especially after it only provided viewers with roughly 15 minutes of screen time for Din Djarin, Grogu, and Bo-Katan Kryze.

Chapter 19, titled "The Convert" served as a filler episode for the series which was centered on the returning Doctor Penn Pershing (Omid Abtahi) who was recruited by the Coruscant government and placed under its amnesty program. The episode also marked the return of Katy O'Brian who's revealed to be Elia Kane, now serving as a New Republic officer after her years as an Imperial servant to Moff Gideon.

Despite the episode garnering a negative reception from the fandom, it turns out that Chapter 19 holds a very special place in Abtahi's heart, and when you learn about his story, your dismissive opinion about the Doctor Pershing-centric episode will probably change.

Taking to Twitter, Abtahi shared a heartwarming conversation he had with his son who apparently was an extra during the episode. According to the Doctor Pershing actor, after filming the episode, he couldn't help but well up after his son giddily expressed his glee after finding out that Coruscant is "real". Going back to Chapter 19, we pretty much proved that Elia Kane hasn't been reformed, and her dastardly actions during the episode's closing moments are enough indication that she's up to no good. The real question is, instead of working with Pershing, why did she decide to remove him from the equation?

The Mandalorian's next episode hits Disney+ tomorrow.
