The Mandalorian star Mercedes Varnado, known to the world of professional wrestling as Sasha Banks is once again facing controversy after she and tag team partner Trinity Fatu aka Naomi walked out on WWE just as they were scheduled to wrestle during the May 16th episode of WWE RAW.
According to Fightful, the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions were unhappy about being put in singles feuds where they are compelled to put over (aka lose) the RAW and SmackDown's Women's Champions respectively as they believe it would only tarnish their reign atop the tag team division.
While Varnado and Fatu gained support from their peers and some fans, other people are appalled by the display of unprofessionalism from both wrestlers and unsurprisingly, the blame is being put solely on Mercedes for dragging her tag team championship partner into the whole fiasco. Still, there are people who are under the impression that everything is a "work" aka part of their wrestling storyline but as it stands, all of it seems to be real.

Varnado is already no stranger to "walking out" due to her frustrations with regard to how she's being booked in the company but this is the first time WWE has publicly acknowledged the situation. During last Friday's broadcast of WWE SmackDown!, the commentators announced that both superstars have been suspended indefinitely and have been stripped of their titles.
Both Sasha and Naomi have yet to air official statements regarding the controversy. As for Varnado, if she does end up getting booted out of WWE, at least she can still return to the Star Wars franchise and make a full-time jump to acting. However, the same thing can't be said for her partner.
Meanwhile, it's yet to be confirmed whether or not Koska Reeves will return in The Mandalorian Season 3.
