The Mandalorian marked the first time Pedro Pascal and Katee Sackhoff worked together on a project but despite that, their chemistry has been nothing short of spectacular and fans have enjoyed the dynamic between Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Kryze. Viewers initially thought that Bo-Katan will only be doing a one-off appearance on the hit Star Wars series but the explosive Season 2 finale pretty much that the show's story will revolve around them moving forward.
Apparently, Pedro and Katee get along really well behind-the-scenes and in fact, the two actors have long been wanting to work with each other. Sackhoff reveals that Pascal is particularly ecstatic to be working with her on the show because he's a huge Battlestar Galactica fan, a show where Sackhoff starred in.
In an interview with Looper, the Bo-Katan actress reveals that since joining the show, it's become Pedro's habit to talk to her about nothing but the hit science-fiction series which aired from 2004 to 2009. She says: "There were days where he [told me], 'Hey, hey, hey, come in my room. I want to talk to you. I want to talk to you.' And it was [always] about Battlestar, so it was quite funny."
Now, there's no doubt that The Mandalorian's upcoming third season will spice things up a bit as it will feature Mando and Bo-Katan going at it for the right to rule the Mandalore throne. And although Din has stressed that he has no interest in becoming the ruler of Mandalore, even going as far as offering Kryze the Darksaber, becoming the undisputed ruler of the Mandalorian race is too great of an honor for him to actually resist. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how everything plays out.
The Mandalorian Season 3 will begin filming next month.
