The Mandalorian Season 3 was previously rumored to be "the worst season yet", despite its highly anticipated return. However, The Mandalorian's Bo-Katan Kryze actress, Katee Sackhoff, is here to tell you, the backlash rumors aren't all they're hyped up to be.
The Mandalorian Season 2 ended on a massive cliffhanger with Din Djarin acquiring the Darksaber from Moff Gideon and while The Mandalorian Season 3 is highly anticipated by fans, a previous report indicated that the third season is “disastrous”.
While this outlet source failed to mention if they have actually watched the season or based it on multiple setbacks and delays the show faced, Sackhoff’s enthusiastic comments on seeing The Mandalorian Season 3 should give you a glimpse on what we are about to see upon its release.
“[I was] texting Jon [Favreau] and Dave [Filoni], ‘Are you serious?’" Sackhoff told in a recent interview with Empire Magazine, “‘This is an epic season — it’s so big and so bold and so different!’”

The Mandalorian Season 3 holds a promising return as it would not only show the Mandalore culture and heritage, but also in Bo-Katan’s potential redemption arc once she would have to face a battle with Din Djarin in attempts of retrieving the Darksaber for herself.
Interestingly, in the exploration of the expanding Mandalorian universe, Pedro Pascal previously teased: “What I love about Season 3 is how much the world opens up in terms of Mandalore and Mandalorians,” he said, “That means so many different facets of culture, politics, and rules and discoveries. Delicious doors are flying wide open.”
Seeing how highly praised The Mandalorian has been thus far, it is safe to presume that the creators are doing the story justice. However, we would have to wait and see upon its release.
For now, you can wait for The Mandalorian Season 3 to hit Disney+ on March 1, 2023.
