The Mandalorian: Sideshow's Life-Sized Baby Yoda May as Well be an Official Prop

The Mandalorian had given us a new internet sensation in the form of Baby Yoda, but despite his popularity, we have yet to get any great toys from Hasbro. What's cool is, Sideshow Collectibles has revealed their life-size figure of ‘The Child' and it may as well be something that came out of the movie.

Check it out:

Here's a short description:

Lovingly referred to by audiences as ‘Baby Yoda', the mysterious alien known as The Child has quickly become the breakout fan-favorite of Star Wars™: The Mandalorian on Disney+. Now eager collectors can become a clan of two and bring home the asset as an incredible 1:1 scale Star Wars collectible, no tracking fob needed.

The figure is said to run for $350 and is now available for pre-order. We don't have a solid release date for it yet, but it is set to arrive sometime between August –October 2020.

The figure looks phenomenal, but we still have no idea what kind of possibility to expect with this figure. If anything, Baby Yoda doesn't even move that much in the series; at best I think the head and arms should move. It even comes with a knob from the Razor Crest.

It's really baffling how Baby Yoda has come out to be more popular than the titular Mandalorian, but it's interesting to see where things go. I know it will take a while for him to age, but I'm hoping it gets some better character development—and even a name—come the second season.

The second season of The Mandalorian comes out this fall on Disney+.
